Recommended Firefox Extensions

1) IEView - Adds "View page in Internet Explorer" links to the content and link context menu.

2) Google Toolbar - Allows you easy access to all of Google's search functions, such as their general search, the Froogle shopping search, the news and picture searches, and more from one convenient toolbar. It can also check spelling and link addresses on web pages to online maps.

3) Forecastfox - an extension that brings weather from AccuWeather.comŽ to your Firefox web browser. You can use your US zip code or you can easily find your town or city by using the built in search tool. It is unobtrusive and lightweight, yet can be customized to display nearly as much data as the leading desktop weather programs! If you can't find what you are looking for, click the weather icons displayed to open the AccuWeather.comŽ forecast for your location. A slider, similar to when popup notification for when all downloads complete, pops up from the bottom right corner of your screen when the current conditions are updated. You can even set what appears in it or disable it!

4) Add Bookmark Here - adds an option to the bookmarks menu and/or the context menu for bookmark folders that enables you to add a bookmark to that folder

5) FireFTP - FTP client that provides easy and intuitive access to FTP servers.

6) User Agent Switcher - gives Firefox the ability to impersonate another browser. Good for web sites that insist you use a particular browser or browser version. Download a comprehensive list that you can import - right-click here and select "Save Link As". Make sure to check "overwrite existing user agents when importing".

7) FEBE - Firefox Environment Backup Extension: backs up and restores your extensions, themes, and (optionally) your bookmarks, preferences, cookies. and much more. Backup as little or as much of your Firefox environment as you wish.
